​Lee County Residential Collection Services:

• Once-a-week, unlimited amount of curbside collection:
• garbage, 
• recycling and 
• yard waste
• Additional services include:
• Curbside collection of up to two car tires per week  (larger tires must be taken to the Buckingham facility)
• Pickup of large, bulky items such as furniture and household appliances — available as needed

To ensure collection, please place household garbage, yard waste, and recycling curbside by 5:30 a.m. on your scheduled collection day.

Proper Placement & Timely Removal of Garbage and Recycling Carts

To help ensure safe and efficient collection:

• Place cans, carts, or bags within six feet of the roadside.
• Do not set out trash more than 24 hours before your scheduled collection day.
• Remove empty containers within 48 hours after collection.
• First-time violations may receive a warning. Repeated violations may result in fines.
• Position carts with the arrow facing the street.
• Leave at least 3 feet of space between your cart and mailboxes, other containers, or obstacles.
