Movie in the Park

Lee County Parks & Recreation will host a “Free Family Movie in the Park” at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 23, at Veterans Park, 55 Homestead Rd S., Lehigh Acres. The PG-rated Live Action adventure “Aladdin ” will be the main feature. The plot follows Aladdin, a street urchin, as he falls in love with Princess Jasmine, befriends a wish-granting genie, and battles the wicked sorcerer Jafar. Movie viewing will be on the front athletic field. Lehigh Acres Fire Control & Rescue will provide free popcorn and bottled water. Pelicans SnoBalls of Lehigh Acres will be selling their famous snoballs and Red’s What the Food truck will be on site selling food. Please bring blankets or chairs for movie viewing. In the event of inclement weather, the movie will be moved into the Veterans Park Recreation Center gymnasium.
